ABSTRACT

Reviewing the progress on study about the major allergen of Shuanghuanglian injection in recent years, resulted in that individual differences of anaphylactic shock are closely related with HLA gene polymorphism. Basing on this, we put forward the research strategy on susceptibility gene of important allergen of Shuanghuanglian injection based on the theory of genetic fingerprints, in order to make sure about the relationship the major allergen of Shuanghuanglian injection and HLA-DRB gene polymorphism and specificity IgE antibody, and to clarify the allergic reaction loci reduced allergic reactions, which can provide the reference data for the study on mechanisms for anaphylactic reaction of Shuanghuanglian injection, and research ideas for the sensitization mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine injection study.

ABSTRACT

The nested case-control study design (or the case-control in a cohort study) is described here as a new study design used in safe evaluation of post-marketing traditional Chinese medicine injection. In the nested case-control study, cases of a disease that occur in a defined cohort are identified and, for each, a specified number of matched controls is selected from among those in the cohort who have not developed the disease by the time of disease occurrence in the case. For many research questions, the nested case-control design potentially offers impressive reductions in costs and efforts of data collection and analysis compared with the full cohort approach, with relatively minor loss in statistical efficiency. The nested case-control design is particularly advantageous for studies in safe evaluation of post-marketing traditional Chinese medicine injection. Some examples of the application of nested case-control study were given.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the expressions of EphA2 and EphrinA1 in bladder carcinomas and their clinical significance. Method The expressions of EphA2 and EphrinA1 were detected on bladder carcinomas (75 cases ) by immunohistochemistry S-P method. Results ( 1 ) The positive rates of expression of EphA2 and EphrinA1 were 61.3%(46/75) and 46.7%(35/75) respectively. (2) The expression of EphA2 was related to tumor size, lymphatic metastasis and TNM staging(P< 0.05),but not to gender, age and pathology type (P > 0.05 ). ( 3 )The expression of EphrinA1 was related to tumor size and lymphatic metastasis (P < 0.05 ), but not to gender, age, pathology type and TNM staging (P > 0.05 ). (4)There was significantly positive correlation between the expression of EphA2 and EphrinA1 (P < 0.05).Conclusions EphA2 and EphrinA1 are related to the occurrence and development of bladder carcinoma. The combined detection of EphA2 and EphrinA1 can help to predict the clinical and pathologic characteristics of bladder carcinoma. It is an important index to assist treatment, they are predictive factors for bladder carcinoma.

ABSTRACT

To explore the effect of allogenic achilles tendon on one-stage reconstruction of antedor/postedor cruciate ligaments,3 cases with ruptured anterior/posterior cruciate ligaments and received allogenic achilles tendon reconstruction,at Department of Orthopaedics,General Hospital of Chinese People's Armed Police Forces, from June 207 to April 2008,were collected.A more than 6-month follow-up showed that all cases could walk at 12 weeks postoperatively.Anterior andposterior drawing tests,as well as inversion and extroversion stress test were negative, with 100° movement ranges. In addition,no serious complication occurred. The Lysholm knee fuction scores were 87,83 and 85,respectively.The results suggest that the allogenic achilles tendon seems to be a satisfactory treatment option for one-stage anterior/posterior cruciate ligaments reconstruction, which has merits of easy operation, small trauma and good short-term results. However, further research is needed to determine the role of allogenic achilles tendon in knees with multi-ligament injury.
